Stand at Attention

So, I haven't been dedicated to my goal this year of posting a photo a day, but who's noticing, anyway? After my rush on picture taking this last weekend, I haven't picked the camera up in a couple of days (except to catch Sarah on the potty chair). So here's a real favorite from the track meet where I met M and K last week. It was a beautiful night with the sun glazing the leaves of the trees.

Eerie

This was taken at the softball field, after Rob's game on Tuesday night. I couldn't believe the ominous, eerie feeling this sun gave the atmosphere that night. The sky was just a hazy, dense gray. It was a tricky shot. There were lots of field lights, fences, and softball players to maneuver around.

Sears tower in Chicago from Halsted on the way to Wrigley Field (man, the traffic was brutal). I like how I was able to get the exit ramp on the bottom (it's the one entering the Dan Ryan, I believe).

Foellinger

Here's another picture from the Quad yesterday, since I didn't take any shots today. This is Foellinger Auditorium where we saw the Indigo Girls in concert a few year ago.
