Baby Birds

Here's what's been hanging around outside my door lately. These little birdies hatched from their eggs this last weekend and are already growing FAST! I don't expect them to fit in this nest much longer. This makes me nervous, as each year I have to bury a poor little one who's fallen out of their nest. Because they are so close to the house, I'm gonna have to be on birdie patrol so our hound doesn't sniff it out first. Ew.

I have to say, these little things are NOT cute. Kinda creepy the closer I got.
