No tip-toeing in these tulips

I adore tulips, especially the long stemmed ones. However, I truly dislike taking their picture. I think they are not meant to be photographed, but to be enjoyed in a vase in my home. Now with that said, I must say, Chellie and I have been able to get a couple of good shots over the years of these fabulous flowers, but we don't have many because they just...well, I don't know, they just don't like to get their picture taken. I think they look waxy, fake and not at all what they look like with the naked eye. Since I missed posting a shot a day over the last few days, I will give you the one that I think turned out the best and a few Sarah shots from a few days ago. The trees and shrubs are budding and blooming so I hope to get out to take some pics today of the new life. Love it!

This is from the same shoot we did a few days ago. I love the look on her face.

Sarah caught me with the camera and this is her getting up to come see it/me close up.
