Tapestry

This is a tapestry that my friend "S" has hanging in her home. The picture doesn't do it justice, though. It's a beautiful piece. Thanks for letting me shoot it "S"! I only wish the picture could show how gorgeous the piece is. BTW, this is for Saturday's post. I'll get something for today. I am shooting tulips inside, but the pictures look horrible! I know it's difficult to shoot tulips anyway (right, Chel?) and then to do it inside is even more of a challenge. Sarah isn't cooperating for any photos either, at the moment, so we'll have to think of something else to be my victim. Oh, I see some cool icicles hanging from the porch! Gotta go!
On a more personal note:
I was a glutton for punishment last night. As I lay on the couch with the house quiet, Sarah and Rob in bed, I was flipping channels and came upon Steel Magnolias. Thinking, "Why am I doing this to myself?" Of course, you know why I said this, as the end of the movie approaches, Sally Field is screaming about the loss of her child. Then they show her grandson running towards her, etc. UGH! My shirt sleeve was soaked with tears as I was too lazy to get up and for some Kleenex. This part of the movie always reminds me to not take life for granted and treasure the relationships with your family and friends. At the closing of the movie Sally Field says "life goes on". Wow! It sure does. No matter what happens in (my) your life, time keeps ticking. I guess that is why it is so important to deal with your issues in the moment. This is also part of the reason I have begun working out again, eating healthier, getting my back stronger, etc. So, I can enjoy life MORE and hopefully extend it alittle too. OK, enough of the "heavy stuff".
