Be still my heart...
Here are a few shots of Sarah approximately one year ago today. It's amazing how a year ago, I was "wishing" she was walking, talking, eating more than pureed food, more independent, etc. Now, I wish I had my "little babe" back. Actually, I love the stage she's in now (aside from the sleeping issues, eating issues, clingy issues, etc.) and the way her brain is exploding on a daily basis. It's so fun to watch and I love her as much today as I did a year ago, maybe more. Is that possible? As I was once told by my friend, Chellie, kids are like your heart walking around outside of your body. Oh, so true.

Oh it is so true! You do love them more as time goes by. However, when you spend day in and day out with them it is hard to imagine that, esp. when it can be so challenging sometimes. I read a quote once that said that as a stay-at-home parent the days last an eternity, but the years fly by. So true! I definitely feel like I blinked when my kids were toddlers and now they are school aged!
Remember, one of the reasons Sarah is so amazing and lovable is because of the bottomless pit of love that you as her momma bestow upon her. She is blessed to have YOU.
